LIGUE 2 BKT: IDRISSA GUEYE IS THE ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR APRIL

April once again belongs to Idrissa Gueye, who has won the Rookie of the Month award for the second time this season. This trophy honors the best young talents in Ligue 2 BKT and reflects the commitment of the league’s Title Sponsor – BKT, the leading company in the off-highway tire industry – to supporting new generations.

The young Senegalese talent, born in 2006, was already awarded in February and, in his debut season in Ligue 2 BKT, has contributed to his team’s success with 1 assist and 4 goals, the latest of which came in April against Red Star.

For the third consecutive month, a Metz player has been named Rookie of the Month, demonstrating how much Les Grenats believe in the talent of their young players. It’s a strategy that’s also paying off on the field, as Metz has already qualified for the Playoffs!
