FOOTBALL AND TERRITORY: EMILIA-ROMAGNA WELCOMES THE BKT TOUR 1

The BKT TOUR organized by BKT was truly special. The leader company in the production of Off-Highway tires, Title Sponsor of the championship since 2018, confirmed its place once again alongside fans, promoting activities to make them feel like protagonists and give them a truly unique experience.

As a tangible sign of its commitment in the world of sport, BKT decided to devote its initiatives to Emilia-Romagna, the region that boasts no less than four clubs in Serie BKT this year. So it was that the BKT TOUR, which began on 20 October in Reggio Emilia, after the stage on Saturday 26 October in Cesena and the midweek one on Tuesday 29 October in Modena, concluded on Sunday 3 November in Sassuolo. Football, community and the world of BKT. The Emilia-Romagna tour is the best opportunity to highlight its across-the-board commitment to the territory, but not only that: leading up to the International Agriculture and Gardening Machinery Exhibition (EIMA) in Bologna, the trade fair of reference for the agricultural sector in Europe, the pickup that usually pulled the bench was replaced by a latest-generation tractor, entirely tired and branded with BKT graphics, which travelled around the main roads of the region. The tractor was also the protagonist of various activities along the route.

To enter the competition proper and offer fans an even more memorable experience, for each city and team, BKT invited a famous footballer from the club’s history who distinguished himself for his devotion to the shirt. Starting with Giuseppe Alessi, former player for AC Reggiana 1919, who launched the series of appointments for the month of October, followed by the presence of Dario Hubner for Cesena FC, Pablo Granoche for Modena FC, and Matteo Lovato, currently a defender for US Sassuolo Calcio, closing the BKT TOUR in fine style.

The renowned footballers were present in the city to experience the pre-match atmosphere once again and to be available for an autographing session and meet the fans. A special moment for all supporters of the four clubs, who were able to remember the unique moments of their history together with the players.

The initiatives of BKT, realized in collaboration with the Lega Nazionale Professionisti B together with Havas Play, the network that puts sports marketing, fan engagement and other activities at its centre, did not stop here. Before the starting whistle, thousands of branded BKT gadgets were handed over at the turnstiles on entering the stadium. Then, during the half-time interval, the “BKT Football Truck Challenge” involved two fans from each city in a race with the BKT Football Truck, the remote-controlled model that has now become famous as the official Serie BKT ball-carrier.
