For the second consecutive year, as the official sponsor of LALIGA, BKT actively participated in the pre-match activities of El Clásico, offering Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona fans a unique experience within the DAZN Fan Zone.
El Clásico is considered the most inspiring football rivalry in the world, watched from every corner of the globe, uniting millions of fans, not only in Spain. Fun, emotions, and spectacular goals are always present at El Clásico and BKT, the leader in the production of off-highway tires, as official sponsor of LALIGA wanted to be part of all of this.
Building on last year’s success, when BKT powered fan engagement activities worldwide, we brought our fan games to Madrid. We participated in ‘La Fiesta del Clásico,’ a special fanzone created by LALIGA, DAZN, and Warner Music at The Music Station in Madrid, a few hours before the clash between the Merengues and Blaugrana. There, thousands of fans had the chance to challenge our iconic mechanical goalkeeper, who had already entertained Italian fans at the 2023 Serie BKT Playoffs and those in Barcelona last year during the first leg of El Clásico. Even though the BKT robot goalkeeper proved almost unbeatable again this year, saving every shot, it did not diminish the joy of each participant who went home or to the stadium with a small BKT gadget, as a souvenir of this historic football day in Madrid.
This initiative is just a small part of BKT’s fan engagement program, which includes activities with many other championships sponsored by the brand worldwide. It aims to bring sports closer to fans, reflecting BKT’s commitment to supporting and building communities across different countries, and spreading values like teamwork, sociality, and solidarity that are central to BKT’s vision.
