LIGUE 2 BKT: PATHÉ MBOUP IS ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER 1

The third Rookie of the Month prize for this season, which recognizes the young players that have distinguished themselves in Ligue 2 BKT, highlighting the commitment of the Title Sponsor to the new generations, has been awarded to the Pau FC striker.

FROM DAKAR TO THE PYRENEES, TO THE SOUND OF GOALS

Pathé Mboup was born on 19 October 2003 in Mbao, Senegal, in the banlieue of Dakar and at the age of 9 he joined the Association Sportive Dakar Sacré-Cœur, with which he made his debut among the professionals in the 2020-21 season. After experiences in Belgium and France, in 2024 he came to put on the number 9 shirt at Pau FC and immediately showed his qualities in the finishing phase, taking his place as left winger wearing the number 11 in Nicolas Usaï’s team.

With 3 goals (including a brace at Red Star FC) and 2 assists in Ligue 2 BKT, Mboup is the second player in the Béarn team in terms of goals scored, if we also add the two scored in the Coupe de France. Numbers that confirm a great start to the season for the Senegalese 21-year-old, a fine technical player and a real leader at Pau FC.

After Nkambadio and Lebreton, the third Rookie of the Month has also been named: who will be the next to leave his mark?
