BKT cares about the well-being of the communities in the areas where it operates and considers its sponsorships as a means to promote health, growth, and togetherness, foster inclusivity, and build a brighter future for everyone through sports.
BKT Places to Play is the corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative that, in collaboration with URC, donates new sports facilities to communities in the United Kingdom, Ireland, and Italy.
The first beneficiary was Kenfig Hill RFC, affiliated with the Ospreys, in South Wales. A multi-functional fitness area, called The Power Zone, was built, allowing the club to expand its offerings to local schools and other sports organizations that need a high-level facility.
BKT Fan Games are a rugby-themed activity devoted to the fans of the BKT United Rugby Championship. Each participant has the task of simulating a pass by throwing the ball through three different sizes of BKT tire.
The game immediately met with success with those present, who immediately understood that it was much harder to do than it seemed: making a pass precisely through the centre of the tire requires ability, reflexes and precision.
