THE BKT TOUR IN THE BASQUE COUNTRY: A TRIP INVOLVING PASSION, TERRITORY AND GREAT FOOTBALL LEGENDS

The first edition of the BKT Tour – Euskadi Roadshow, the travelling show going out to find the fans and identity of the Basque Country, has concluded with great euphoria. An unprecedented project in the Iberian Peninsula that confirms the commitment of BKT, Official Tire Partner of LALIGA since 2019, in supporting and showcasing the passion of fans and their bond with their territory.

After success in Italy with the BKT Tour in Emilia-Romagna last season, BKT exported the activity to Spain, with a trip divided into three stages: San Sebastián, Vitoria-Gasteiz and Bilbao. Each appointment registered high levels of participation in the BKT Fans Zones, which became real gathering places for the thousands of fans taking part in exclusive activities, receiving gadgets and having selfies taken with the LALIGA trophy, the cup reserved for the winners of the championship.

Legends of Basque football Xabi Prieto, Manu García and Iker Muniain were also central to the BKT Tour, and were welcomed with great enthusiasm by fans in each city. But the true, iconic protagonist of the tour was the special DEUTZ-FAHR 7250 TTV tractor, fitted with agricultural tyres from the AGRIMAX range and branded with a special pattern devoted to BKT, the real thread running through the stages of the tour, connecting all the cities and the various fanbases.

BKT collaborated with Basque influencer Iker Ruiz to tell the story of the third stage in Bilbao, who shared the atmosphere and the experience on his social profiles. However, the entire project and all the stages can be relived on the official social channels of bkt.sport and LALIGA that documented the entire trip.

With this initiative, BKT renews its commitment to fans in its seventh season alongside LALIGA, reinforcing its role as an active partner that is close to local communities.
