LIGUE 2 BKT: ANTHONY BERMONT IS THE ROOKIE OF THE MONTH FOR DECEMBER AND JANUARY 1

The fourth Rookie of the Month of this season - an award that recognizes young players who stand out in Ligue 2 BKT, highlighting the Title Sponsor's commitment to the new generations - has been awarded to the winger of FC Annecy.

Anthony Bermont was born on February 10 in Beauvais, in the Hauts-de-France region, and it is in nearby Lens that he grew up playing football. After progressing through the youth ranks of the Sang-et-Or – with whom he boasts 1 goal and 1 assist in the Youth League in the 2023/24 season – he landed on loan at FC Annecy, where he made his Ligue 2 BKT debut in the first match of the season, coming on as a substitute against FC Martigues.

Bermont is a very versatile offensive player who can play in all attacking midfield roles but prefers to start from the left to cut inside onto his right foot. This season in Ligue 2 BKT, he has actively contributed to three of his team's goals (with 2 goals and 1 assist). In his first months in the category, he quickly climbed the ranks, eventually becoming a regular starter in Laurent Guyot's eleven. The Reds are still in the running for promotion and their dreams also depend also on the plays of the twenty-year-old Bermont.

After Nkambadio, Lebreton, and Mboup, the fourth Rookie of the Month has also been awarded: who will be the next to leave his mark?
