MATHYS DETOURBET IS THE WINNER OF THE ROOKIE PRIZE FOR THE COMBINED MONTHS OF NOVEMBER AND DECEMBER IN LIGUE 2 BKT 1

November and December represented a real moment of consecration for Mathys Detourbet, the talented youngster playing at Troyes who is quickly attracting the attention of numerous clubs. His convincing performances have earned him the Ligue 2 BKT “Rookie of the Month” prize, a recognition created by Title Sponsor BKT to celebrate the best emerging youngsters in the French championship and to underline the brand’s commitment to showcasing the new generations.

Born on 29 April 2007 in Troyes, Detourbet is the classic example of a home-grown talent: a linear path, built up step-by-step in the club’s youth teams, up to his well merited promotion to the first team. In just four seasons he has climbed up all the categories, from the U17s to his debut among the professionals, imposing himself as one of the most promising profiles in Ligue 2 BKT.

The same growth path is reflected in his international experience: after starting out in the French U17s, the winger carved himself out a regular role in the U20s, waiting for the call-up from the full national team. An aim that, considering he is aged just 18 and the maturity he has already shown on the pitch, seems ever closer.

Detourbet left his mark in Ligue 2 BKT in the last months of 2025, distinguishing himself for his personality, technical quality and continuity.

Who will be the next talented youngster to win the title of Ligue 2 BKT Rookie of the Month?
