ANTHONY BERMONT IS THE LIGUE 2 BKT ROOKIE OF THE SEASON

The Ligue 2 BKT Rookie of the Season is an award created by BKT to recognize the young talent who stood out the most in the Ligue 2 BKT championship, highlighting the Title Sponsor’s commitment to the next generation. It was awarded for the first time in the 2024/25 season, and the inaugural winner of this prestigious honor is Annecy FC’s talented winger: Anthony Bermont.

Bermont had already been named Rookie of the Month in January, thanks to a standout first half of the season as a surprise performer in the attacking midfield of an equally surprising Annecy FC.

He finished his debut professional season with two goals—against Stade Lavallois and Clermont Foot—and one assist in 29 matches, playing mainly as a left winger, cutting inside onto his preferred foot.

In the end, Annecy FC finished the season in sixth place, narrowly missing out on the promotion playoffs, but showing significant growth, thanks in part to the development of young players like Bermont.
