THE BKT HEARTBEAT CHALLENGE CONTINUES TO INFLAME THE PASSIONS OF BASKETBALL FANS 1

After the enormous success of last season, BKT - the leader company in the production of Off-Highway tires - resumes its collaboration with EuroLeague, the competition of which it has been Premium Partner since 2020, to bring the activity that has inflamed the sports arenas of Europe to basketball fans again this season.

HOW IT WORKS

In all the arenas and for each game, the intensity of fans’ singing and their constancy over the entire duration of the match are measured. The data gathered is then processed by AI, which provides the results based on the information collected. The aim is to identify the club with the most passionate fans in the whole EuroLeague, a subject that has long been debated and never officially resolved and that it will finally be possible to determine, thanks to the BKT Heartbeat Challenge.

On a weekly basis on the @euroleague and @bkt.sport social channels, the most thrilling action that has established the "noisiest moment of the round" reaching the highest peak in sound will be shown. A table will also be revealed highlighting the top three sets of fans of each day based on their highest average intensity.

The major innovation, compared to the first edition, is the prize for the noisiest fans of the season, which will be assigned to the fans who have won the largest number of rounds. Every two months, on the social channels of EuroLeague and BKT, the provisional table with the three best sets of fans will also be published, to keep fans updated on the progress of the challenge.

THE SUCCESS OF LAST SEASON

The activity came about from an idea of BKT during last season, starting from round 25, until the final won by Panathinaikos in Berlin. The most passionate fans during the regular season were those of Partizan, the only ones to reach an average of 100 decibels during a game, while the absolute highest peak was registered during round 27, when a triple by Biberovic sent the fans of Fenerbahce wild, exceeding 107 decibels in intensity.

The activity was also included on the shortlist for a prestigious prize in Italy, the BEA Awards, in the Best Digital Activations category. This year, with the start of the new EuroLeague season, the Heartbeat Challenge has resumed and it was the fans of Zalgiris who won the first round.

Who will the noisiest fans be at the end of the season?
