YVAN IKIA DIMI NAMED LIGUE 2 BKT ROOKIE OF THE MONTH

Yvan Ikia Dimi, the attacker at Amiens, has been awarded the Ligue 2 BKT “Rookie of the Month” prize for October. The trophy confirms the French attacker’s excellent performances in the month of October. This month he scored 2 goals and clamed 1 assist, which are now added to the other 2 goals scored in his first season as an Amiens player. Returning from a loan to Bordeaux last season, Dimi has definitely changed gear, carving out a regular place for himself in the team, thanks also to his flexibility, which means he can play both wide and centrally in attack.

Reaching the youth team at Amiens in the 2021/22 season, he now seems ready to carve himself out a key role in the team, which has developed him to become a mainstay of the club. That ambition also goes hand-in-hand with that of gaining a regular place in the French national squad, where, for the moment, he can only boast a few caps in the Under 18 and Under 20 youth teams.
