The best teams from the EuroLeague and the BKT EuroCup take each other on, giving their fans truly unique matches. Arenas filled with enthusiasm and iconic players. That’s the European temple of the big ball.
For BKT being close to the territory and to communities is a cornerstone of our sponsorships. Being in contact with the fans of the championship we sponsor means being present not only on the pitch, but above all off it.
For this reason, we decided to activate various dedicated social projects, all linked together by the common desire to Leave a Mark. For the EuroLeague we came together with One Team to give the cities of Athens, Istanbul and Berlin, the latest in chronological order, new basketball courts to train their young players.
The aim of the activity is to Leave a Mark in schools, to educate, from when children are very young, about how to grow healthily through sport. For each city, the project is also supported by its own club, which is present at the inaugurations with a delegation formed by the team and its executives.
Supporting passion for sport has always been a priority for BKT Tires, who has always placed this value top of the table in all its activities and sponsorships.
So it is that precisely to get close to the fans of EuroLeague Basketball, we decided to create an initiative involving them directly. Thus the “BKT Trophy Tour” came about, the exclusive activity completely dedicated to fans of EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup that gives them an encounter with an official replica of the trophy and the possibility of taking unique photos lifting the cups.
Every day a different arena, for a total of 20 clubs, 18 cities and 8 nations.
The BKT Heartbeat Challenge is a project that aims to settle the unending debate about who are the most passionate fans in the EuroLeague in a fun way. BKT studied and analyzed the structure and acoustics of each arena, measuring the intensity of all the matches in decibels.
To make the project even more engaging, two sets of digital content are created to stimulate the reactions of the fans of the 18 teams, pitting them against each other in a healthy way based on fair play.
After each weekly round a table is drawn up showing the best three arenas of the day just concluded in terms of decibels, together with “The Heartbeat Moment”, a short video showing the moment in all the matches that registered the highest peak of sound.
