BKT is the new title sponsor of the United Rugby Championship.

Being alongside the fans and proposing ever more exciting activities to further highlight the competition will be the main objective.

BKT adds another competition of international renown to its sponsorships. The Brand is title sponsor of the United Rugby Championship, which, in the Northern Hemisphere from the season 2022-23 and for the next three years, will bear the name “BKT United Rugby Championship”. The BKT logo is therefore added to the already numerous prestige sponsorships present in the world of sport. From football to basketball, to cricket and Monster Jam. The values that characterise all the Brand’s activities, such as commitment and determination in achieving its objectives, passion, not only for sport in general but also for all the initiatives accomplished, attention to the territory and profound support for social projects and all CSR projects, all travel on a single track. Each of them, however, adds specific characteristics to its partnership, making it special and unique. Physicality and power, will power and team work, closeness and respect will be the fulcrum on which BKT will focus its activities with the URC.

The BKT United Rugby Championship is a top-level tournament that sees the best clubs in Europe and South Africa challenge each other, twelve in all, including Ireland, Scotland, Italy and Wales and four from South Africa. In the 2021-22 season the URC recorded peak TV viewing figures of 34.6 million spectators, a clear sign of the important media resonance of this league.

From on-field visibility to activations in the stadiums, the aim of BKT is to be alongside the fans and clubs of the URC to propose valid initiatives and to enthusiastically offer an experience. For BKT, working in close contact with the protagonists of the competitions chosen is the principle at the basis of each sponsorship. The key message is in fact Growing Together, the constant desire to grow together with the property for an increasingly stimulating collaboration
